AMG is a privately held bank offering comprehensive financial services designed to help you achieve long-term financial security and success. For more than 30 years, AMG has helped affluent individuals and families, corporate executives, business owners, nonprofit institutions and endowments achieve their financial goals.
We here at AMG National Trust Bank (AMG) have assessed our systems in light of the critical vulnerability in certain versions of OpenSSL (called "Heartbleed") disclosed to the public earlier this week. We promptly assessed the risk to our clients and to our internal systems. We can confirm that:
- AMG’s online banking services do not use OpenSSL and were completely unaffected by this problem.
- AMG’s other client web access points (AMG Portfolio Review, AMG Scorecard, and AMG Secure Email) which are non-transactional do not have the vulnerability.
- Business sites that AMG uses to maintain the integrity of client accounts and assets do not have the vulnerability.
If you would like to take further steps with respect to your accounts, you may want to change your passwords on your accounts with AMG. We do recommend that users regularly change their passwords.
Please contact your banker or financial advisor if you have questions or concerns.
