Generative AI, today’s AI, has the potential to create new jobs and companies, and boost productivity, positively impacting markets and global economic growth. The next stage – the jump to artificial general intelligence or super-human intelligence – has far-reaching implications for global relationships and economies. 

Jonathan Moyer, Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for International Futures at the University of Denver, and AMG’s Spencer Anderson will lead our discussion about this rising technology and how countries, economies, markets and investors may respond.

SPEAKERS:​

Jonathan Moyer

Jonathan Moyer

Jonathan D. Moyer is Assistant Professor at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies and Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for International Futures. He works across various research areas, extending and using the International Futures (IFs) integrated assessment platform. Partnering with governments, think tanks, NGOs and others across the globe, the Pardee Center informs policy-making around the world by building data, tools and leading analysis that explores our deeply interconnected world. Jonathan studies patterns of human development through funded research for organizations like the African Union Development Agency and the United Nations. He leads the creation of new data and tools to better understand and analyze international relations contributing to reports such as the U.S. National Intelligence Council Global Trends 2030. Jonathan also researches patterns and drivers of state fragility and failure most notably as Lead Co-PI on a five-year Minerva grant. He received his Ph.D. in international studies from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies in 2012.
 

Spencer Anderson Spencer Anderson

Spencer Anderson joined AMG National Trust in 2015 as an Investment Research Analyst in our Denver, CO office. Prior to joining AMG, Spencer served as a Senior Operations Specialist at Brown Brothers Harriman. Over his eight years of experience, Spencer has managed an approved list of investment strategies for AMG National Trust and helped to launch and manage centrally managed multi-asset portfolios. Spencer earned a B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a CFA charterholder. Spencer enjoys snowboarding, biking, and playing the guitar during his free time.
