Wright and Senior Executive Vice President Michael D. Leadership

AMG National Trust Bank is led by a strong Board of Directors.

James D. Vaughn

James D. Vaughn was named to the AMG National Trust Bank Board in November 2005. Mr. Vaughn had a  32-year career with Deloitte & Touche, where he served as managing partner of the Denver office for the seven years prior to his 2001 retirement. He also served as the lead client service partner and advisory partner for many of the firm’s most significant financial services clients in Colorado, including companies in the investment management, insurance and banking industries. Prior to being appointed managing partner, he worked for several years as the lead technical partner for accounting, auditing and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting matters. During his assignment in the Deloitte & Touche’s National Office SEC Group in New York, he served as an SEC review partner for initial public offerings, secondary offerings and merger and acquisition transactions as well as private placement of equity and debt securities.

In addition to the AMG National Trust Bank Board of Directors, Mr. Vaughn serves as the Chairman of the audit committee for a group of ten equity and fixed-income mutual funds based in New York. He is a member of the Audit and Investment Committee for the University of South Dakota Foundation as well as a board and executive committee member for Junior Achievement and Mile High United Way. Mr. Vaughn has also given his time to numerous community organizations including Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, Denver Area Council-Boy Scouts of America and the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts.
