Wright and Senior Executive Vice President Michael D. Bergmann, Ph.D. Now a national financial services organization with offices in Denver, Boulder, Cheyenne, Chicago, Morristown and Virginia Beach, AMG National Trust Bank has approximately $4.7 billion of assets under management*.

Leadership

AMG National Trust Bank is led by a strong Board of Directors.

Earl Wright

Earl_WrightEarl L. Wright, Chairman of the Board, co-founded Asset Management Group over forty years ago, which then became AMG National Trust Bank with headquarters in Greenwood Village, CO. AMG National Trust Bank is an innovative, independent private bank and wealth management firm with over $4.0 billion of assets under management. Mr. Wright holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was honored as a "Master in Profession" from his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has served as an academic advisor in starting the Masters of Finance Program at the University of Denver and has authored articles for Trusts & Estates and Personal Financial Planning.

Mr. Wright has a long history of community leadership and involvement in Colorado.

Common Sense Policy Roundtable: He is co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Common Sense Policy Roundtable (CSPR), a non-profit free-enterprise think tank dedicated to the protection and promotion of Colorado’s economy. In 2013, under Mr. Wright’s leadership, CSPR purchased the REMI dynamic econometric model uniquely designed to assess Colorado’s economy. This information provides an unbiased economic impact analysis of public policies and proposed legislative actions on Colorado’s economy and job growth.

University of Colorado: Mr. Wright is currently a member of the CU Boulder Strategic Advisory Committee, CU Global Ambassadors, and serves on the Section Committee for the CU Visiting Chair of Conservative Thought.

Taiga Biotechnologies, Inc.: Mr. Wright is on the Board of Directors of Taiga Biotechnologies, Inc. which is a private cancer research company.

Zenon C.R. Hansen Foundation: Mr. Wright serves as Secretary and Treasurer for the Zenon C.R. Hansen Foundation and has been involved for over 30 years. Currently, the Foundation supports programs to develop leadership skills for Doane college students, area high school students and community leaders. In the past, the Foundation’s main support has been to fund area Boy Scouts’ efforts to reach a broad range of youth.

Tom Haggai and Associates Foundation: He is on the Board of Governors for the Tom Haggai and Associates Foundation (THA), an organization dedicated to assisting nontraditional students as they pursue careers in the teaching field. Education has always been important to Mr. Wright.

Rotary Club of Denver: Mr. Wright is a member of the Rotary Club of Denver. In 2010, he received the Exceptional Community Service Award.

University of Nebraska Foundation: He is a Board member of the University of Nebraska Foundation.

Previous: He served on the Doane College Board of Trustees for 23 years. He is the former Chairman Emeritus for the Denver Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Wright was also the past Chair of the Graduate School Advisory of the University of Colorado Boulder. He was also on the Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, and served as the Chair of the Investment Policy Committee for the University of Colorado Foundation. Additionally, Mr. Wright served on the Board of Directors for Nichols Institute (now Quest Diagnostics) and SuperFoods, two former publicly traded companies. He also was the former Treasurer of Junior Achievement in Columbus, Ohio.
