Credit Analyst
Boulder, CO

In this position, you will be an initial member of the credit analysis department of a quickly-growing bank with commissioned loan officers. You will provide safe and sound loan analysis and guidance to lenders and pre-screen loans prior to loan approval. You will assist the Chief Credit Officer with portfolio management and enhancing processes and developing procedures for the analysis department. You will manage the internal credit review, CRE Stress Testing model and third-party relationships with appraisers and other vendors.

This position requires you to provide expertise and support to lenders. You will attend on-site visits with lenders, act as second contact to applicants, provide loan package requirements and verify information is complete and all necessary signors are identified. You will review credit history and thoroughly analyze individual credit requests. You will provide collateral lien searches, vendor verification, prepare loan presentations, structure loans appropriately, and monitor loan covenants and loans maturing list.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years prior credit analyst experience and a Bachelors degree in finance or accounting. Must possess a strong credit analysis background including cash flow skills and tax return analysis skills, strong credit structure abilities, and an ability to spread and critically analyze projections. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented with strong Excel capabilities. Must be self-motivated and inquisitive, with the ability to research and problem solve.
